Criticspace Journals: Welcome to Criticspace Journals, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.

Author: Thank you very much. The response has been satisfactory so far, by God’s grace. I hope to get more support in the future. Regarding the experience, I personally believe writing is a difficult task. As this is my first novel it took a lot of time and effort. But, penning down the thoughts is very satisfying and the experience was really good.

Criticspace Journals: What encourages you to become an Author?

Author: I think it is a good way to present your thoughts to the world in a very comprehensive manner that you can’t do otherwise. You can choose any topic that you want; you can choose between fiction and non-fiction, there are no boundaries. It’s a relieving process to unload yourself.

Criticspace Journals: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature.

Author: I really like writing and reading horror and thrillers and even fantasies. However, this one doesn’t belong to any of these categories but and I am looking forward to writing any of these in the future.

Criticspace Journals: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!

Author: As I said earlier that I like reading thrillers/horrors so I have a special love for Agatha Christie’s books and from the current times, I follow Novoneel Chakraborty. Their books are really interesting.

Criticspace Journals: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.

Author:  At first, I thought to give a long title but then what has been shown in the book is how to conquer over self. It is really important to first win the fight from oneself. That’s most important. Only then the fight from the world can be won.  The book is not only about me as people are predicting it. “Me” here is not about “me.” It’s about oneself.  Because I believe that though there are people who advise you, support you, criticize you but, ultimately it’s only you who have to act upon the situation. You have to follow the path that you feel is right and whatever makes you content.

Criticspace Journals: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Author: Well, I do not have much experience in writing. I have written a few blogs and articles earlier and this is my debut novel and people have liked it. Hope the same for the future as well.

Criticspace Journals: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Author: This is too early to say anything but yes as I said I would definitely try my hands at writing a thriller or horror or maybe fantasy.

Criticspace Journals: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Author: No, I have not begun any other work now. I am yet to give a thought to it but would plan soon.

Criticspace Journals: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Author: Writing has always been a  good way to present your thoughts. With time, more people have been come up with new books and new ideas and with every day the number of writers is increasing.  Publishing books are easy these days as compared to earlier times where only traditional publishing was an option due to which many aspiring writers could not get a chance. But with advancement and kindle options available people can get their work published easily.

Criticspace Journals: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

Author: I would not say it was easy, it was quite difficult and time -consuming but it was all worth it. I would wish them all the best of luck in future.
