Criticspace Journals: Welcome to Criticspace Journals, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.
Anu Girdhar: Thank-you so much for making me part of Criticspace Journals, I’m actually getting a good response from the readers, some of them posted their reviews on my Facebook page and Amazon, my experience with book is excellent. The happiness I got when I received my 1st copy can’t be explained in words.
Criticspace Journals: What encourages you to become an Author?
Anu Girdhar: For me writing is catharsis a journey within. I love to write my heartfelt emotions in the form of poems, I think it’s the better way to convey and express.
Criticspace Journals: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature.
Anu Girdhar: my favorite topics revovole around emotions of women. I write on the feelings of being a lover, wife, mother, daughter and a woman who is complete in herself.
Criticspace Journals: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!
Anu Girdhar: I got the inspiration of writing from my husband Dr Puneet and my best friend Dr Sonia Batra. But I follow many writers, difficult to name anyone in particular. All the fellow poets and poetess inspire me in many ways.
Criticspace Journals: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.
Anu Girdhar: The story behind the title is my own story, How a girl in me evolved from a shy, introvert girl to a confident, professional, independent woman. As the life was unfolding, a girl in me was getting better.
Criticspace Journals: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.
Anu Girdhar: My writing career is just a year old, I have written more than100 poems till now. All the poems have been well applauded at various poetry forums, and I have been rewarded at various levels. Many of my poems have been accepted to be part of web magazines and various anthologies. I was rewarded with Gujrat Sahitya Academy Award on the eve of independence day in 2020. I won many poetry challenges which actually encouraged me to take the journey of writing forward.
Criticspace Journals: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?
Anu Girdhar: I want to write the poetry which is relatable and heartfelt. My future in writing seems to be good if I keep on getting love and warmth from my readers.
