Author Story Article Release

Hello author, on behalf of all the readers, we would like to discuss something about you and of course, your book as well.  This conversation will help reader to know more about you and your debut book. Please give answers in brief.

Most welcome to Criticspace Journals, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.

Your Answer: Thank you! I’m an IT Professional, a reborn writer, a complex person and a happy wife,  mother, woman – all rolled into one. Just another human being in pursuit of happiness.

That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?

Your Answer: I’ve always been a bookworm, thanks to my sister and eldest maternal aunt. I don’t even know when did I start writing in my childhood days. Though I do know when I stopped it altogether for almost ten years for some petty reasons.

It was my better half who returned this gift to me, albeit through his taunts and unusual ways of support.. he’s been my backbone forever, ever so silently pushing me towards this goal. In fact, my debut book – Unspoken – is a result of one such challenge!

Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly? Be descriptive please so that our visitors know about you little more.

Your Answer: How do you differ between being strong or weak emotionally? For me, every human being is capable of expressing in his or her own ways. I’m a very imaginative person. An overthinker as well. I may say that this perhaps helps me but I strongly believe even if this isn’t the case, you can still pour it all out in words if you wish to.

How do you come up with the titles to your books?

Your Answer: I just think about the story and choose the title that my gut feeling supports! 😊

What, in your opinion, are the most important elements of good writing?

Your Answer: Grammar and Syntactical aspect! This can never be compromised with. There should be some semblence in what we write. It should be able to hold the reader’s attention for longer spans. Rest, if you have a story, you write it.

What comes first, the plot or characters? How do you develop your plot and characters?

Your Answer: For me, the plot, characters both take birth at the same time. Two sides of the same coin?

Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?

Your Answer: Yes, I am. Readers can contact me on wadhwas.1709@gmail.com or https://www.facebook.com/Silent-Musings-102474657771058/.

Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book. Why they should pick it up for reading?

Your Answer: Unspoken is my debut book. It’s a collection of short stories I had written over the past three years. Heavily inspired from how life has been unfolding before me, I take a slice of what I see or experience and write down my take on it. It is a bittersweet collection of stories that I’m sure the readers would be able to connect with.

And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.

Your Answer: Pick up the pen or phone or iPad or whatever you choose as the medium to write. But just do it. It took me a long time to restart this, better start now. 😊
