Criticspace Journals: Welcome to Criticspace Journals, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.

Author: Thank You. Yes… though it’s early days to call the book a success still there are responses from the readers who get in touch with me through social media. Many thanks to them for this response that they have given.

Criticspace Journals: What encourages you to become an Author?

Author: Since my childhood days a question always haunted me. We are all going to go to the eternity one day. But what and how can I leave anything for the generations to come after us. I found the answer: Some writing with some instructions for life. That was what prompted me to write. I WANTED TO LIVE THROUGH MY writing.

Criticspace Journals: What are your favoritetopics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature.

Author: That’s difficult to answer. A writer writes what he discovers through his eyes. Behind every work there is an inspiration. But… yes you may say that I like to write on topics like romance and adventure and historical fiction.

Criticspace Journals: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired  you and whom you follow!

Author: There are a lot of the great authors whom I like and who have inspired me. Of course Thomas Hardy is one. In the genre of scince fiction I like Arthur Conan Doyle and Amish. In romance I FOLLOW Chetan Bhagat and Ravinder Singh.

Crticspace Journals: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.

Author: Yes there is a story behind that. It so happened that one night I was tossing in bed and I woke up to find the little chink of moonlight creeping into my bed. I went to the roof and saw the beauty of the night flooded by the moon which was not full yet. That prompted me to go with this title. Of course it goes well with the story.

Criticspace Journals: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Author: Now there is no specific goal. Actually I write for pleasure. And of course I wish to  grow my brand. Now I am working on a project and I think I can finish it early and go along. Yes I would like to turn myself into a fulltime author.

Criticspace Journals: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Author: As I said I am recently working on a romance novel which I love the best of the three novels of mine so far. Along with romance it includes some social problems. I am looking forward to it.

Criticspace Journals: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Author: Really it has been a sea-change in both the readers and the social and mental attitude of the people in general and this has led to the change of attitude among the writers. Apart from the thematic changes there are innovative ideas which is the result of modern technology. There is more space for the authors to write about. Indian writing has had a massive improvement over the years. With self-publishing genre gaining supremacy in the publishing industry there is bound to come more improvement along with time.

Criticspace Journals: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

AUTHOR : It was indeed an interesting journey. Initially I had not even thought to publish this in the form of a novel. Infact, my first novel was only published without any promotion. However, my family and friends supported me all the way and finally I placed it in the hands of the experienced publishing team from Evincepub who confirmed me of its potential and so they published the novel.  I think the main motto should be not to lose patience because success is not far. So believe in yourself.

Criticspace Journals: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.
Author: To be frank, it is just the beginning for me. My first venture “IRA, A SAGA OF LOVE” was published during the worldwide pandemic and lockdown. And my third novel is coming soon. Hopefully it will do well.
