Author: It gives me immense pleasure to present this book to UG youngsters. This book will help them to understand the basic concepts of ENT and prepare for their exams.
Criticspace Journals: What encourages you to become an Author?
Author: I used to read the books and write down my own notes since the time of my school days. I used to write in magazines during my college days.
I have been inspired by our Indian literature, history and eminent authors.
Writing gives me opportunity to express my thoughts.
Criticspace Journals: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest areas in the literature.
Author: In field of otorhinolaryngology, my areas of interest are rhinology and head neck surgery.
In literature,I have keen interest in history, archeology and nature.
Criticspace Journals: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!
Author: I have been inspired by writings of Rabindranath Tagore, P. L Deshpande, Kusumagraj and Jim Corbett.
Criticspace Journals: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.
Author: Yes, Title ‘TEAM UG’ is different and catchy. Its short form of The ENT Answer manual for undergraduates. It has been decided by Dr. Krishan Rajbhar. Entire credit goes to him.
Criticspace Journals: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.
Author: It was a nice journey for me all along from a small village in Vidarbha to become an ENT surgeon. I have published research papers related to ENT in various journals and also I have prepared otology, rhinology, laryngology, head & neck surgery notes for PG students.
Criticspace Journals: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?
Author: My current goal to write a textbook and practical manual in ENT for post graduate students and Colour atlas of Endoscopic surgery.
Criticspace Journals: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.
Author: Yes. I am working on ENT Textbook for post graduate students.
Criticspace Journals: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?
Author: Literature reflects nature of people and thinking at that time. It changes with time as society do changes with time.
Criticspace Journals: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?
Author: It was a nice experience to be a part of TEAM UG book. I want to thank Dr. Krishan Rajbhar, for doing such huge academic work in all medical subjects.
Due to his efforts and all TEAM UG members, I had good experience in publishing this book.
For young authors I want to tell, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it and the imagination to improvise..
