Author Story Article Release
Hello author, on behalf of all the readers, we would like to discuss something about you and of course, your book as well. This conversation will help reader to know more about you and your debut book. Please give answers in brief.
Most welcome to Criticspace Journals, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Your Answer: I was born and brought up in Mumbai, did most of my schooling back there. The innocent years as they say. In 6th grade I shifted to Muscat, Oman for my further education. I have been in Muscat now for over 12 years and am pursuing BCOM. I am an avid reader and a dreamy writer, I love to explore cultures, vivid content and unique experiences that this life has to offer. I believe we all have dreams that are worth sharing, the world needs to see our creative and crazy side that we often hide.
That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Your Answer: I never thought that I would pursue this path, I always loved to read but a few years back I had some remarkable dreams that begged to escape my dream journal. I used to write a lot of poetry and wanted to delve into uncharted waters that is when I decided to publish my stories. I shared them with a few of my folks and they all have me a positive feedback so I decided to go ahead with my plan and take that leap of faith.
Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly? Be descriptive please so that our visitors know about you little more.
Your Answer: I Believe we need to be one with our emotions, because the reader wants to feel alive through a book, through the stories he/she indulges in. The story lives on in their minds and hearts. The emotions play a key role in making that a reality. My advice to a budding writer would be to find their emotions, let those emotions be a guiding light as they discover themselves and bring forth beautiful stories.
How do you come up with the titles to your books?
Your Answer: I honestly just winged it.
What, in your opinion, are the most important elements of good writing?
Your Answer: Deep characters, strong emotions, be yourself and don’t try to do what the other person is doing.
What comes first, the plot or characters? How do you develop your plot and characters?
Your Answer: It’s honestly all on your personal process, some stories begin with a well explained plot and some with a deep character. Do what makes your story unique and beautiful.
Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?

Your Answer: My book is all about my dreams, 5 short stories that were all weird unique dreams that I weaved into stories. My stories will take you worlds unknown and will leave you with warmth and a want for more. It’s honest and pure in expressing what it needs to express. And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Your Answer: Believe in yourself and your craft. Your words matter and needs to be heard. If you have a thought, write it down, you may need it in the future. You owe that to yourself, the effort to try, fail and then succeed. Success will come but not without failure.
