Author Story Article Release
Hello author, on behalf of all the readers, we would like to discuss something about you and of course, your book as well. This conversation will help reader to know more about you and your debut book. Please give answers in brief.
Most welcome to Criticspace Journals, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Your Answer: Hello Readers, I, Niharika Sah, am 28 years old and kind but selectively social as a person. My daily life is quite simple, revolving around my work and family. I have pursued B.A. English Honors and P.G. Diploma in Book Publishing Studies from Calcutta University. I was a Copy Editor at SAGE Publications and currently am working as a Content Associate at LexiConn Content Services.
That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Your Answer: Writing influenced me at a young age and I eventually grew up to embrace it both professionally and personally. I am passionate about the power of words and have made some humble contributions to the creative field through poetry before my first novel ‘Closure’. I started writing since my school days and was mostly influenced by my surroundings and people.
Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly? Be descriptive please so that our visitors know about you little more.
Your Answer: I believe that everyone has their own medium of expression as per their liking. Not everyone can be a writer simply because they fancy it; there is always a knack which drives such skills. However, there are a lot of factors which eventually shape in one’s life to motivate them to write. With the right determination and hard work, being a writer doesn’t seem like a distant dream. We are all humans! We are not devoid of emotions! We all feel and perceive something every passing minute; it’s all about finding courage in one’s wish to pen down their feelings.
How do you come up with the titles to your books?
Your Answer: I have one published novel so far and I chose the title ‘Closure’ before I even started writing it. The novel has actually been shaped from its ending, which was an emotion that briefly crossed my mind. The crux of the plot along with its end helped me in coming up with the title.
What, in your opinion, are the most important elements of good writing?
Your Answer: Good writing is all about being honest to your pen, aided by complex workings of one’s mind and followed by consistent determination. Acceptance of oneself is the primary driving force in the life of a writer. For technicalities, if one is at all interested, there are ample resources available online that can be browsed. And last but not the least, the editors are the true warriors behind the scene, who ensure readability and flow of a writer’s thoughts.
What comes first, the plot or characters? How do you develop your plot and characters?
Your Answer: Characters, for me, comes before the plot. Life can be breathed into plots only if the characters exists. A plot is driven by characters and their doings; no plot can exist in isolation. Movements, relatability, boredom, expositions and climax, the highs and lows, the transitions, and clarity of purpose is how I deal with the development of the plot.
Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?
Your Answer: Yes, I am on social media, and easily approachable and responsive to interactions with interested readers. Feel free to connect with me on any of the following links.

Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book. Why they should pick it up for reading?
Your Answer: About the Book
“Moving on is a choice, not a mandate” is the central theme around which Closure revolves. It’s okay to choose not to let go, it’s okay to be angry and unforgiving, it’s okay not to succumb to worldly ways, it’s okay to grieve. The unnamed narrator bears witness to her beloved’s wedding and dies a silent death within, only to emerge with a stronger will of keeping Chahat alive in her through shared memories. Narrator’s tenacity pays off when success favors her self-inspired livelihood. Right when the acceptance of circumstance and consequence settles in, this magical world defines an enchanting meaning to her namelessness. Closure is a heartfelt applause to all souls proudly living and breathing their unrequited love, as it unfolds a brief yet beautiful tragedy of how love’s loyalty evidences that “no reason is reason enough” in love and silence is its unspoken language.
Love is what binds us all and so this book is for all who wants to explore another shade of this universal emotion. Anyone and everyone is welcome to read ‘Closure’ and share/discuss your thoughts and reviews. Of all my unfinished endeavours, ‘Closure’ is a complete and a precious part of me. Please support my dreams by buying a copy and reading with an open heart.
And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Your Answer: To all aspiring authors, as I always say, “The first step to begin one’s writing journey is the acceptance that nothing is ever trash. The rest lies in perseverance.” Don’t get caught up in the dilemma of what ifs and why; just keep writing. Write not with transitory expectations, but to unburden and feel complete.
